Phase I: Accounting Software Automation

Trility helped a growing regional retail company save roughly $3 million in annual labor costs with a redesign of the existing architecture, including automating processes with CI/CD technology and integrations. In addition, Trility provided mentoring and knowledge transfer to enable long-term client success.

Problem Statement

This regional client was incurring significant accounting labor costs at all store locations through invoice automation. 

Solution Approach

After a thorough review, it was determined a redesign of the existing architecture would allow for an automation initiative that included CI/CD technology and integrations.

The client achieved a secure, automated way to leverage CI/CD technology to bring invoices from store locations and feed them into existing General Ledger, Profit & Loss, and legacy reporting systems, using integration to the two primary workflows from the accounting system.

This project also included pairing and coaching for engineering staff to enable client success upon project completion.


This client was able to reduce labor costs through automation for entire chain of stores with an estimated cost saving of roughly $3 million. The project finished two months early and led to repeat business.
