That commitment to follow-through was put to the test when a CISO at a large financial institution called Mike directly during an active cybersecurity breach. Within hours, Mike had mobilized his leadership, assembled an investigation and remediation team, and looped in legal and the FBI. Within 48 hours, the team had identified the source of the breach and put a stop to it. The client relationship didn't end when the crisis did – it deepened, and the two remain close to this day.
