Ashley Kasper joins Trility as one of our newest Directors of Business Development. Her natural curiosity and love for learning will help her succeed in this role where she will combine her passion for Des Moines, technology, and delivering value to clients, customers, and partners.

Ashley’s career in product development has spanned various industries, including EdTech, FinTech, AgTech, and most recently Climate tech. As a product manager, she specialized in data collection, integrations, and partnership growth strategies. In those roles, she’s connected third-party platforms to company technology to improve user experience and product market fit. A common thread throughout has been delivering user experiences that strengthen customers' trust in the products and services they depend on to do work.

“Ashley is a lifelong learner and a consistent achiever, as evidenced by her career path. Her history as a product manager provides her with first-hand experience and knowledge of our clients' challenges,” shared Brody Deren, Chief Strategy Officer. “Her desire to solve problems proactively will make her a great asset for Trility and our clients.”

Being told, “Oh, I’ve never thought about that,” is one of the best compliments I receive as a mentor because it indicates I’m creating value and helping to broaden perspectives. I’m always curious to expand my viewpoint and enjoy helping others do that, too.

Outside of her new role at Trility, Ashley is a mentor for Drake University’s Business Accelerator Clinic. She partners with aspiring and small business owners to refine their business plans and go-to-market strategies. Her passion for guiding others is evident in her ability to encourage business owners to think about their challenges differently. Ashley says, “Being told ‘Oh, I’ve never thought about that’ is one of the best compliments I receive as a mentor because it indicates I’m creating value and helping to broaden perspectives. I’m always curious to expand my viewpoint, and enjoy helping others do that, too.”

In her new role, she is most excited about deepening her involvement in the Greater Des Moines business community by partnering with businesses to provide options and recommendations on their technology and innovation investments.
