Problem Statement

In implementing its cloud-first vision, this global Fortune 500 insurance company sought expertise to guide, support, and accelerate modernizing applications and securely building infrastructure in the cloud that leverages agile delivery and repeatable patterns across the organization.

Solution Approach

The client hired Trility to work in parallel with its internal teams with Trility focused on assessing securing risks for existing services and infrastructure and then providing observations, recommendations, and options to reduce security risks and accelerate delivery.

Once leadership and key stakeholders have a deeper and broader understanding of the impact of the options, Trility builds out the chosen solutions, provides a demonstration, adjusts as needed, and then rolls out services across the organization to support other delivery teams.

Outcomes

Proof of Concept for Terraform Cloud | Implemented test-driven development for optimal performance and capacity.

Service Assessment | Enabled real-time reporting of all services being used by all cloud accounts to reduce security exposure and impact for future decisions. The client was also able to create permissions for teams to access, filter, and aggregate event logs for services.

Self-Service Account Provisioning Roadmap & Implementation | Completed Proof of Concept to allow for self-service account provisioning and automation through integration of Sailpoint and HashiCorp Vault.

Enterprise Remediation Framework | Enable visibility and scalability for long-term management of AWS account usage and services to support enterprise cloud and optimization goals.

Team Integration & Execution Solutions | Help ensure meets its secure Enterprise cloud and modernization objectives by building predictable and repeatable engineering patterns.
